Presidential aide, David Bwala, has chastised Peter Obi for stating that President Tinubu lacked empathy for not visiting the Yelwata community in Benue state, where more than 100 people were killed by suspected herdsmen in June.
In a recent interview with Channels TV, Obi emphasised that empathy is key to effective leadership..He said that since taking office, President Tinubu has not shown any empathy for Nigerians. He made reference to the k!llings in the Yelwata community and how, following the tragic event, President Tinubu failed to visit the community.
Responding to Obi in an interview with Channels TV on Monday night, July 7, Bwala said that social critic Very Dark Man, who visited the community and posted graphic footage of what transpired there, was more sympathetic than Obi, who was scolding his principal for not going there.
