Peter Obi has stated the reason he was unable to attend the funeral of former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina state yesterday July 15. 

In an interview with Arise TV, Obi who was in Daura today to pay his condolence, said it was quite a challenge getting ticket to Katsina yesterday, July 15.

‘’It was difficult to come here yesterday but there was no flight. Even if there was flight, you can’t land in Katsina airport because . It was all closed because there was a lot of dignitaries. It is believed that the mourning continues till tomorrow. So who ever comes today, tomorrow is still part of the mourning and we are all mourning him”
