Nigerian-American rising star Vyk Mila has just released his boldest work yet: SURAH 93—a raw, spiritual, and street-rooted Afro-Fusion project that reflects his journey from Lagos to America and back.
Fresh from an electric performance at Felabration, Vyk Mila’s EP tells a story of rebirth. Inspired by the 93rd chapter of the Qur’an (a message of light after darkness), the project blends Afrobeat, drill, and ghetto gospel.
“This is my reconnection with my source, sound, and maker,” says Mila. With production from Puffy Tee (the genius behind ‘Yahooze’), Shocker Beats (the Ghetto King), Professional GOGOGO, Zest, Chilli Ace and Fret.
SURAH 93 features a ghetto kids choir, American drill beats, and lyrics that hit hard. It’s already making waves across DSPs—and Mila’s not stopping there. He’s building an entertainment empire “#MILANATION” that spans music, film, and digital storytelling across Africa.
