Paul Pogba has revealed that “everyone” abandoned him when fame plummeted. 

The French footballer said the calls stopped and people started avoiding him after doping ban led to loss of fame. 

He added that even his wife was deserted by friends. 

However,  he said his wife, Maria Zulay Salaues, remained strong and continued to parent their kids. 

He hailed her for being there for him during the ban and added that his experience has taught him a lesson about life.
