Veteran actor Yemi Solade has stirred reactions with his claim that no Nigerian actress purchased a G-Wagon luxury SUV from earnings made solely through acting.

Solade, who spoke in a recent interview, argued that the film industry does not generate enough income to fund such extravagant purchases.

He insisted that acting alone cannot give any actress money enough to buy G-Wagon, unless they have something else doing.

Yemi Solade said in part …

“No actress can say she bought her G Wagon from the money made from acting because how much do they earn?”
